The Lancer isn't a BAD car, really. It's just not good. I had a saloon GS3, so 18" rims and "sport suspension". It seems Mitsubishi think "sport suspension" means "break your spine and bounce from one bump to the other". The rear spoiler fills with water (or ice), the rear visibility is woeful due to the spoiler, the brakes are shockingly bad.
Real MPG. 42.7. Average. Comes as saloon and a five-door Sportback. Competent and handles reasonably well. Ralliart is good fun. Hard to make a strong case for buying one. Sportback is not a looker. Read the full Mitsubishi Lancer review.
