I completely removed Arkcham City from my PC (uninstall, followed by deleting all the leftover files in Steam directory and User directory). This step may or may not matter, but doesn't hurt to be safe. I uninstalled all elements of the Nvidia driver package that Windows 10 installs automatically (the 353.62 package).

Where is this file? I need to do some changes and multiple scores said and showed its under BmGame and then in the Config folder but I can't find it. Pls help.
01. Locate DefaultEngine.ini here: Steam \ SteamApps \ common \ Batman Arkham City GOTY \ BmGame \ Config \ DefaultEngine.ini. 02. Open DefaultEngine.ini with NotePad. 03. Locate "AllowD3D10=True" and change True to False. 04. Save file and restart computer. Interestingly, a load of files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Batman Arkham City GOTY\Binaries\Win32 got deleted first time I ran the game. This includes the config app BMLauncher.exe It's another 17Gb download to get them back. Anyone else seem similar? < > qk2CNP.
